Robin Machiran received her Master’s Degree in History from the University of Missouri, St. Louis in 2001 where she specialized in the early history of United States, and the archaeology of the Missouri and Illinois area. From 2000 until present she has worked as a site supervisor and principal investigator completing phase I surveys, phase II testings and site mitigations throughout Missouri and Illinois including work at the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site. She also has conducted architectural surveys of buildings, bridges and landscapes, including cemeteries. Machiran also has conducted and supervised the laboratory work needed after the completion of field investigations and completed comprehensive reports of both the field and laboratory work. From June 2006 to present she has worked for Archaeological Research Center of St. Louis, Inc. and is currently the President of this company.
