As project architect for the $30 million renovation of Soldiers Memorial, located in downtown St. Louis, Erik has had a prominent role in its revitalization since 2014. This includes the extensive work required to make the building fully accessible and in achieving LEED Gold certification. Other relevant project experience includes the renovation of the Greenwood Elementary in Kirksville, MO and the renovation of Paty Hall at the University of Alabama.

Erik graduated with a Masters in Architecture from the University of Kansas in 2009 and previously received a Bachelors in Architectural Studies from the University of Missouri. While at KU, Erik was a member of the 2009 Studio 804 Masters program. As a St. Louis native, he is passionate about the revitalization of the city. He is a current board member of AIA Missouri and past chair of the Young Architects Forum St. Louis, a committee of the AIA. He volunteers often for Rebuilding Together and Habitat for Humanity.
