Digital Content Coordinator for Made with Uncommon Character, St. Joseph, MO
Emily Baumann is a local entrepreneur who specializes in content marketing. St. Joseph, MO is her hometown and is passionate about serving the community. She currently works with the Made with Uncommon Character community brand as a digital content coordinator gathering the stories, imagery, and anecdotes that make this community unique and executing the digital communication plan. An integral part of the Uncommon Character project has been the weekly social media postcard series in which vintage postcards are photographed in their current locations and a description of the location or building is shared to create an approachable new way to view and learn about places all over St. Joseph. Emily graduated from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, MO with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences Chemistry/ Business and earned her M.B.A. in Marketing and Advertising from William Woods University in Fulton, MO. Her experience has allowed her the opportunity to speak across the country for client engagements on various digital marketing and content topics. She currently serves on the alumni board at Missouri Western State University and as the Historian of the St. Joseph Historical Society.
